5 ideas of how to replace your upper kitchen cabinets.

More and more kitchens nowadays don't have upper cabinets. We want our kitchens to be elegant, to be airy and light, to look spacious and beautiful. We want to avoid our interior looking bulky and cluttery and, with the smart design, it's possible.

In this article I want to show you several ways of how to replace upper kitchen cabinets and hopefully I will convince you to use these design ideas (and my services) when you decide to redesign your kitchen.

And before we start. I understand that storage is a very important aspect of the kitchen - this is why I recommend using ceiling height pantry cabinets where possible to make sure kitchens don't lose their function.

1. Continue countertop up to the backsplash and finish it up with a shelf. The same material will create a seamless look and your kitchen will look very elegant.

2. Use statement hood design. Instead of traditional shaped hoods - try making it an accent piece of the entire kitchen.

3. Use statement lights not only on the island but at the main kitchen as well. This unique design decision will bring your kitchen to a new level.

4. Organize a gallery wall. Treat your kitchen just like any other room in your house - cover it's walls with frames, hang some wall lights - the space will become incredibly cozy!

5. Embrace natural light. Last but not least - if you don't have large windows in your kitchen, this design decision will require biggest investments but if you do - don't surround your windows with cabinets, let them breathe and fill the space with natural light.

I hope you likes these ideas. My name is Anasatsiia, I am an interior designer and here is all about how to make your house beautiful and functional! Please reach out to me with any questions.
